Instead of the 2020 Annual Meeting, which we have canceled due to the pandemic, we are considering a number of possibilities for AAA-sponsored events and activities for the fall, and would like a better sense of our members’ plans and preferences. Your responses to the following questions will help us decide on how to proceed.
There are several ways we might produce a program of virtual events for this fall.
- Live broadcast: the closest we can get to taking our traditional in-person meeting online
- Pared-down program: similar in spirit to our in-person meeting, but with less content, to keep it manageable
- Focused event series: presentations give anthropological responses to the pandemic and the U.S. election
- Hybrid option: similar to a focused event series, but with more space for broad research topics
